Curved Profiles

To achieve the optimum performance through design, the following rules are adhered to, with curved sheeting being placed one tier at a time onto aligned steelwork.

The curved nature of this sheet makes for more rigidity than a plain profile sheet. As a result, care should be taken when planning the installation and sheet runnout. We recommended the runnout should be influenced by the curved sheet itself rather than the usual modular method commonly used with standard cladding packages.

The maximum length a curved sheet should be is 5000mm. However, for the best in operability and ease of implementation, it is recommended to use curved sheets as small as possible.

Anti-Con Backing

Anti-Con is an industrial textile product that is non-woven, containing a chemical binder allowing for a highly porous surface. Anti-Con is great in humid conditions, with a high rate of absorption for humidity. This ultimately results in drip free backing due to absorbing and storing the condensation. Upon the next warm period, the fleece dries out ready for another cycle.

Anti-Con sheets are produced in our 1000/32 Profile. Please contact us for more details.

Vented Profiles

Vented profile 1000/32 provides side wall ventilation (particularly for, but not restricted to, the agricultural market) that is affordable / economical, acting as a viable alternative to traditional slatted boards used in construction and the proprietary louvre bank.

The design is also notable due to its vented crimp which permits a high volume of air entry but the greatest possible defence against wet weather including rain and snow.

To achieve the best air flow we advise that the intake is at least 1.5 times the capacity of the exhaust.
